Definition of "Kanchow"

As the result of the combined pressure from the Hunanese and some Kiangsi troops from Kanchow, Chu Teh’s 4th Army retreated south along the Hunan-Kiangsi border in two sections, re-joining somewhere in the region about Takeng (Kiangsi), which it captured.
