In particular, my trip to a Sierbao village in Luliang county, Yunnan province, left a deep impression. Luliang is about 135 kilometres northeast of the provincial capital Kunming.This is one of China's major tourist routes, served by a brand new national highway. It took me just two hours by bus from Kunming to Luliang county.
