Definition of "Shaoguan"

The transfers began in the early 2000s, and by the first half of 2009, nearly 100,000 Uyghur workers had been sent east under this programme. Several hundred of them were working from May 2009 in the Xuri Toy Factory in Shaoguan, Guangdong, a facility that made toys for Hasboro, Mattel and other international companies.
