Definition of "prolately"

For the lowest resonance I obtain I π {\displaystyle I^{\pi }} = Ω π {\displaystyle \Omega ^{\pi }} = 5/2 − {\displaystyle ^{-}} for 39 {\displaystyle ^{39}} Mg which is likely to be prolately deformed, while I π {\displaystyle I^{\pi }} = Ω π {\displaystyle \Omega ^{\pi }} = 1/2 + {\displaystyle ^{+}} may be assigned to the nucleus 21 {\displaystyle ^{21}} C which may be oblately deformed.
