Definition of "Makit"

Ecstatic traditional music and dance of the Dolan people from Makit County, Xinjiang. The Dolan musicians will not only treat the audience to Dolan muqam and Dolan folk songs, but also jam with guest musician Mamer in a ground-breaking session that will explore the traditional-improvised music of Xinjiang.
