Definition of "Zhong"

Under special conditions (when the previous year is one of abundant sand and the following year is a dry one), there are four locations in the river section that has many sandbar accumulations between Changshou and Zhong County where temporary silt accumulation may occur, making it possible to maintain a water depth of only 3 meters or less (river ship channel departments now are striving to maintain it above 2.9 meters) and resulting in problems in the passage of large barge trains.
